Objective

The market for online services and application service providers is enjoying increased attention again. Vendors are using innovative and customised solutions in the market. Today's solutions are usually more flexible than the (old) known ASP model. This new flexibility and the versatile applications of the latest solutions on the user side have increased demand.  Market observers predict, therefore, for the near future, a very optimistic outlook. Not least, because it also promotes a continuously improving infrastructure - by increasing mobility and increasing availability of high bandwidth - using online services as a cost-efficient alternative to traditional solutions, such as the client / server approach.

The aim of the eco Working Group Social Services is to encourage this trend to further increase awareness and support the market in its growth. We want to provide the Working Group not only as a platform for discussion and networking, but to encourage the participants to design targeted results in the form of white papers or studies in order to make the online services market active.
